Rear window: 2nd October 2011

Rear Window
When first watching the opening sequence of Rear window it is put across that it is a happy but gripping thriller. Also when watching I could tell that there were some elements that make it stand out.
Miso-en-scene: It shows where the film is set throughout the title sequence, from the man’s apartment block looking though his window. You see all different people waking up, doing things though there windows.
Camera techniques: Also when watching it the producer uses loads of camera angles, like close up, long shot, extreme long shots, Pan view.
Editing: The titles are faded in and out of the sequence which creates a good mystery feeling.
